The perfectly proportioned jar masterfully carved with fine details, undercuts and delicate floral designs. Jadeite stone of green with natural matrix of darker green and pale translucent color. The body of the miniature jar well hollowed, with four handles of peony blooms suspending loose rings from their stems. The cover surmounted with an openwork peony finial with stem suspending loose rings on two sides. Four leaf-form feet support the jar and fit into the custom carved wood stand. This is a high quality carving in a delightful miniature size. Jade Height : 7 cm (2.7 in.), Width: 5.6 cm (2.2 in.), Wood Stand height: 2.4 cm (0.9 in.) Condition: Slightly re-carved petal to one of the peony flowers on the jar. Please see last picture.
